Important warning
Do not try to jump start the 48V system or charge the battery directly with incorrect equipment. Incorrect charging can damage the DC/DC system and make repair costs much higher. These batteries require the correct controlled recovery charge procedure to protect the cells.

Before you send the battery
- Ensure the 12V battery is healthy and fully charged
- After an accident, the vehicle usually requires a new pyro fuse / safety fuse
- Some newer vehicles may have two pyro fuses that must be replaced
- This is a repair/reset service to your own unit — not a replacement battery
- If we find physical damage, water ingress, corrosion, or failed cells, we will contact you before any additional work

- This is a repair service only for your own unit
- No replacement battery is supplied
- A weak 12V battery or unreplaced pyro fuse can cause the same faults to remain after refitting
- Units with severe physical damage or failed cells may require additional work or may be beyond economical repair
- Removal and refitting should be carried out safely by a qualified person
